Worried that their children have become obsessed with television shows from Earth which extol the virtues of Santa Claus, Martians begin an expedition to Earth to kidnap the one and only Santa Claus. While on Earth, they kidnap two lively children that lead the group of Martians to the North Pole and Santa Claus. When they arrive on Mars, Santa Claus, with the help of the two Earth children and a rather simple-minded Martian lackey, overcomes the Martians by bringing fun, happiness and Christmas cheer to the children of Mars.

Join us for an evening of signing, dancing, drinking, and dining as the Ukiah Brewing Company hosts UPT’s new year’s cabaret, “Countdown to Curtain.” Mega talents from across the county converge at UBC to serenade our audience into 2026. Director Emmeline Swink has curated a collection of broadway bangers—some that you’ve heard, others you’ll be shocked you’re just hearing for the first time.

VIP seating is limited and includes a better view of the stage. All attendees get free appetizers and a glass of champagne for a midnight toast. Doors open at 10pm and the party swings on until 1 in the morning. Come kiss 2025 goodbye with UPT at UBC!

The Ticking Clock by local author Jody Gehrman is a bold, fast paced ensemble play that explores the many dimensions of motherhood, choice, and identity through a series of powerful monologues and a few ensemble scenes. Inspired by real interviews, the script features a wide range of characters-teens, mothers, non-mothers, elders and more-each offering a unique perspective. Most of the show is made up of monologues, with actors playing multiple roles across age, background, and tone. This is a true ensemble piece that values versatility, empathy, and strong storytelling.
